Aftershock owners, Joe and Tara Wieland, have a knack for bringing fun to Midland. After the success of their first local business, Michigan Storm Cheer and Dance, they decided to take on another venture. After much planning and thinking about how to bring a unique new business to Midland, Aftershock Indoor Trampoline Park was born. Since opening in early October 2015, Aftershock has provided exciting experiences for all ages. Joe and Tara thank you for the outpouring of support so far and want you to know when you visit Aftershock, you are allowing a family to serve the community they love and provide for their family of five in the process. They are community members and small-business owners, not jet-setting CEOs, and they wouldn't have it any other way.
"When our kids were little, everyone was so busy that I didn't have 10 minutes to myself. Joe and I wanted to create a place that the kids could have fun while mom and dad can get a work out in or go tanning. Or maybe they'd rather sit in the massage chair or and enjoy a free cup of coffee. Either way, parents work hard and they deserve to have a place that they can not feel guilty about self indulgence. Let the kid's take a class or have some fun while you take a few moments to regroup and destress!" Owner, Tara Wieland
The staff at Aftershock is highly trained in child safety and passed individual background checks upon hire. Instructors for tumbling classes are credentialed for the appropriate levels and have been through an extensive training process.
